'dancing with paints' A.D.A.M. + L.A.C.E.

a cooperation pf Austrian DanceAbility Movement amd Los Angeles Contemporary Ensemble

the stage floor is a canvas - literally
the feet are the paintbrushes - literally

various sizes of hardboard are fitted together to create a canvassed dance space. the edges are lined with plastic (the palette). at various intervals, the dancer dips her feet into different colors of paint and performs a choreographed dance performance. in the end the canvassed dance space is broken up into smaller individual paintings. you can buy one. or you can buy a few and frame them together on a rather large wall. the end result is a byproduct of the show you have just witnessed. a memory of the movement. and the bow is always in black. http://web.mac.com/lace.theater/DWP/buy.html
